Artist: Mel Altshuler attended the New York Institute of Photography. Worked in New York and then emigrated to Canada establishing his own studio, specialising in Advertising and Fashion photography. His clientele included many of the large advertising agencies - on varying assignments. He was inspired by the late Sam Haskins whom he befriended. He then retired from professional photography and changed careers but photography was always on the burner. Now residing in London, his photographs are in private collections and have been exhibited by Getty Images and The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2019.
